Our X'mas Camp 2010!

Aspire Taekwondo 2010 Christmas Camp had ended successfully with great memories left behind for all Aspirants.
Our camp was being held on the 19th Dec 2010 at Home Team NS Pasir Ris, all diligent strivers arrived punctually within the reporting time, thanks for reaching on time that allow our programme to run smoothly. :)
Our day started off with self-introduction and ice-breaking activities, followed by team-building games.
Lunch was served at 1pm to our little hungry strivers.
After 'recharging', they continued on planning of team skit and fashion show.
Games were carried out in order for the group to receive items for the fashion show, whereby they have dance accordingly to the music played, and wow-we discovered a few really potential dancers and singers!
Hours of planning and rehearsing, they were to put up a short skit for everyone in the evening.
Judges were from the mangement team of the camp, after discussion and calculating the total points the team earned through the games, the result was released...
The winning group of the overall is CANDY CANE!
The best fashion show (male) goes to RYAN!The best fashion show (female) goes to WAN JIE!The most valuable player (MVP) goes to WAN JIE! She had shown determination and enthusiasm throughout the camp.Last but not least, the best leader was awarded to YI NING! She had been leading the team alone throughout the first half of the camp (which is not an easy task for a teenager girl) and without signs of giving up, she put up her best leadership to motivate her members and the came in second position.

Aspire Taekwondo would like to thanks all participants, leaders (Qun He, Marcus, Yi Ning, Berenice, Rui Di, Aloysius and Damien), parents, game station masters and the management team of the camp.
Without any single of you, the camp will not be a successful one.
Once again, thank you, we appreciate your presence. :)

Grading @ Jurong East Sports Complex

Grading 3

Our grading for this time round was different, because there were more white belters joining us. :)
Also, we had a few really young aspirants taking this grading with us, bravo!
The youngest was 4 years old, Aswin (YCK) and Varick (SK).
Unfortunately, Varick was frightened by the presence of the huge crowd, so he decided to withdraw from it. Guess he would have stronger courage and well mentally prepared for the next grading. :)
As for Aswin, he passed the promotional test and was promoted to the second level, white-yellow belt. Good job.
Right after the grading, putting away the all the stresses of the performance in the grading, Aspirants headed to the Jurong Swimming Complex together to relax and have fun.

National Kyorugi Championships.

Congratulation to Saiful for bringing the first Gold medal for Aspire Taekwondo, he had just created a historic moment for us.
At the same time, we appreciate the efforts Jarell, Cedric and Marcus put in during the tournament, each receiving a bronze medal. It's a very good start for a beginner fighter.

Qunhe, Yuying, Yining, Olive, Alex and Wen Guan also played a part to contribute to the success of the tournament, by volunteering to help out in the tournament.

Volunteers from Aspire. :)

Once again, Aspire Taekwondo really appreciate the players and volunteers' effort they had put in.
Without every one of you, this tournament will not be a great fun and pleasant memory to all of us. :)

It was the first training of the month and everyone started off with some light warm up, follow by muscles strengthening exercise and drills on kicking.
